Duties:- Conduct warm calling to potential clients to generate new business opportunities, maintain relationships with current clients- Research and identify target markets and industries for business development- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound calling- Collaborate with the sales team to set up meetings and presentations with potential clients- Track and report on sales activities and progress- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities- Attend networking events and conferences to expand professional networkExperience:- Proven experience in business development or sales role, must be within the trucking or oilfield industry.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach- Previous work in trucking industry/oilfield an asset- Knowledge of market research techniques and databasesIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for business development, we would love to hear from you.
